NFN is a central New Jersey based band made up of a very talented, unique mix of musicians blending backgrounds of everything from Pop/Singer-Songwriter to Rock/Punk/Heavy Metal.  

The band considers no genre out of bounds as the current set list is made up of an eclectic mix of hard rock hits from the 80’s & 90’s to today’s popular hits.  Basically …if the bar crowds want to hear it, NFN wants to play it. While high energy, hard hitting songs like Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name Of” and Papa Roach’s “Last Resort” are on the play-list, mellower hits from Journey and The Outfield are also favorite crowd pleasers performed by the band. NFN’s love of music and performing is evident in their live performances and will capture the interest of all who attend. With this much talent and enthusiasm, NFN has been busy making a big name for itself!

Sarah Filson – Lead Vocals

Influences: Cecilia Bartoli, Carole King, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Melissa Etheridge, Steve Perry.

Prior Projects: my shower, my car, and my room! In all serious, this is my first band experience. But here's a fun fact: I have a professional training in opera.

Ed Cabrera – Lead/Rhythm Guitarist

Influences: Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Motley Crue, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne/Zakk Wyldd/Rhandy Rhodes, Pantera.

Prior Projects: Guitarist with Shattered Image and Headstone.

Skyscraper McGillicutty – Bassist/Backing and Lead Vocals

Influences: gravity. 

Prior Projects: Human Genome Project & various middle school art projects involving construction paper and paste.

Bill Shapiro – Drums/Backing Vocals

Influences: Rush, Dream Theater

Prior Projects: Drummer for Third Rail and Rip Corp.

Audie Cabrera – Manager and Some Lead Vocals

Influences: Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Biggie Smalls, NWA, Boyz to Men
